Origin: Tasmanian endemic.
Sprawling low shrub to small tree 1.5-2.5m (eventually taller).
Width 2.0m+. Evergreen. Growth rate medium. Use for shrubberies,
rockeries, as an architectural feature. Best in heavy soils.
Full sun to part shade. Extremely frost hardy. Drought proof.
Flowers in Spring. Pruning not required.
Features: Very unusual form and habit. Bird and butterfly attracting.
Very coarse 'needles'.

Handsome pendulous tree 4-8m+ height. 2.0 -3.0m width. Evergreen.
Growth rate fast. Use for screen, windbreak, paddock shelter.
Any soil type - wet or dry. Full sun. Very frost hardy. Extremely
drought tolerant. Very wind firm. Flowers late spring to early
summer. Pruning not required.
Features: Bird attracting. Self mulching and weed suppressing.
Very widely planted screen-shelter plant. Produces highly prized
timber (from very old trees).

soils but will take most. Full sun to part shade. Extremely
frost hardy. Drought proof. Flowers in spring. Pruning
not required.
Features:Very unusual form and habit.

attracting. Useful compact erect form. Rare Tasmanian

Extremely drought tolerant. Very wind firm. Red flowers in
late Spring

Summer.

not required. Best left unpruned to get best effect from the
plant shape.
Features: Very elegant slightly weeping conical tree. Self
mulching and weed suppressing. Fresh growth in Spring gives
the tree a red or burgundy hue.

be well watered. Full sun. Extremely frost hardy. Very
drought tolerant. Very wind firm. Pruning not required
but will take any amount.
Features: Bird attracting. Whole plant appears slightly
greyish.
